04.01 – Base Leverage 1: Hyperextension

The most straightforward pathological limit, conceptually, is when a joint is completely extended, or straightened out. Forcing that joint to bend backwards beyond that stopping point tears the joint apart.

Goals:

  1. Work through a session of free practice for each video of Coordination Sets 19 – 23 (five sessions).
  2. Look for natural opportunities to apply the various joint breaks inside your free practice sessions.
  3. Do your leg dynamics once a day.
