WELCOME TO MASTERY 1 (CORE)

Welcome to MAS1 aka the TFT Core Series! As a member of this course you now have access to a comprehensive lesson plan that is the distillation of more than 20 years of experience in hand-to-hand combat training.

TFT Mastery (consisting of the MAS1 and MAS2 courses) is a program designed to take anyone from absolute beginner to skilled practitioner within 18 months.
There are 3 components:

1. Video Instruction

More than seven hours of in-depth instruction to get you up and running, followed by more than 70 “coordination set” videos to cover every topic in violence—and that’s just in the MAS1 Core Training Series.  The MAS2 Series will add many more!

2. Training Articles

Supplementary readings to increase your understanding and show you how to push your skills to the limits.  [COMING SOON]

3. Physical Training

This is where you come in—grab a friend and a comfortable space to work in and follow along with our clear, detailed instruction.  On your own time, at your own pace.

TRAINING FREQUENCY

This is really up to you, based on your schedule. Just one 20-minute mat session a week is better than nothing; you’ll get your best results by training no more than three times a week (with a rest day in between, so Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, for example).

The optimal schedule would be three one-hour sessions a week; anything less than that is fine—anything more is really not necessary.

But, of course, it’s your program—take your time & follow along as you will!

ONGOING TRAINING

Ideally, you’ll be working on a new coordination set at every mat session; for best results train them one at a time so you can absorb everything the coordination set has to offer. The material contained in the first four unlocked modules—Modules 1, 2, 3 & 15—is enough to keep you busy with something new every mat session for at least six weeks of training.
